Are you looking for an entry level photography opportunity where you can expand your skills and gain real world experience?  This is the chance to be on a fast-paced and design-centric team working part-time within our brand new production facility in Ogden, UT. We are looking for a crafty individual with some photography background (does not need to be extensive), and above all else an eye for the aesthetically pleasing.
While this role is largely revolving a singular task (shooting photos), you will maintain communication with internal contacts with the goal of owning the photography process at Kotis Design.  The role is projected to begin mid-April. 
Kotis Design is a screen printer, promo product peddler, graphic design firm and warehouse/fulfillment center; but most of all - we are brand evangelists. We tackle every project with unbridled enthusiasm, promising that in the end we always make the Best Shirts & Swag Ever. For 6 of the last 7 years Kotis Design has been named one of the Fastest Growing companies in Washington and now we've expanded to Ohio. Merchandise we've created can be found coast-to-coast on the backs of college students and corporate execs alike.
Duties include the following but are not limited to:

  • Shooting studio product photo for Kotis clients
  • Steaming and styling apparel to provide a retail look
  • Staging photos and mannequins
  • Managing a list of photos needed
  • Working with internal teams on other various tasks

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with DSLR camera and photography (Nikon preferred)
  • Must be comfortable with shutter speed, aperture, and ISO adjustments
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programs and Internet Explorer or Chrome
  • Ability to work in Ogden, UT
  • Part-time (10-15 hours per week to begin– depending on production)
  • No Photoshop editing required
  • Limited photography experience is OK
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
