Do you love T-shirts? How about sewing? We’re looking for someone to assemble shirts, sew on pockets/labels, and work with our embroidery machines… all with the goal of creating the best shirts ever. SCHEDULE
  • 1st and 2nd shifts available 
  • Monday – Friday required
  • Full-time position
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Production based tasks:
    • Sewing - Ensure fold/stitches/quality is consistent and at a high standard
      • Using a serger and cover stitch machine to assemble shirts
      • Sewing custom pockets onto shirts
      • Attaching labels and woven tags
    • Embroidery, hooping, thread changes and running the machine
    • Track and prepare supplies for upcoming orders
    • Time and track all tasks by completing report sheets
    • Read and understand work orders
    • Continue to research sewing and embroidery to improve our quality, efficiencies, skill and overall knowledge
  • Garment related tasks when needed:
    • Identify incoming boxes for order to be printed
    • Receive, open, count, sort, stack, check-in all incoming garments
    • Catch and count shirts coming out of the dryer while paying strict attention to detail
    • Package finished printed garments in preparation for shipping
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Additionally, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to warm or cold weather. The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
  • Single needle sewing machine experience required
  • Industrial sewing machine experience a plus
  • Experience with cover stitch machine and serger a plus
  • Lift and/or move up to 20lbs at times
  • Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms
  • Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
